Hello everybody, it is me again, Dan, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a distinctive dish, calzone pockets. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Calzone Pockets is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions daily. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Calzone Pockets is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook calzone pockets using 17 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Calzone Pockets:
  1. Prepare 1 cup maida/All-purpose Flour
  2. Prepare 1 tsp active dry yeast
  3. Take 2 tsp sugar
  4. Take 2 tsp oil/butter
  5. Get 2 tbsp capsicum cut into cubes
  6. Take 2 tbsp bell pepper cut into cubes
  7. Make ready cubes Fried chicken cubes/paneer
  8. Get 2 tbsp onion cut into cubes
  9. Get 1 tsp chilli flakes
  10. Get 1 tsp oregano/pizza herbs
  11. Make ready to taste Salt
  12. Make ready as needed Lukewarm milk al
  13. Get 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  14. Make ready 3 Cheese slice (optional)
  15. Make ready 3 tsp Pizza sauce
  16. Get as needed Garlic butter/butter
  17. Make ready 3 tsp tomato sauce
Steps to make Calzone Pockets:
  1. In a small bowl, add half cup of lukewarm milk, to it add yeast, 2 tsp sugar and mix rigorously until it gets mixed well. Now cover the bowl and rest it for about 10 mins. Keep it aside.
  2. Now in a large bowl, add maida, a pinch of salt, half tsp chilli flakes & half tsp oregano herbs. Mix everything well. Now add yeast and make a soft dough, by adding lukewarm milk, as required. Lastly add 2 tsp oil and Knead the dough once again, for about a minute. Knead the dough by folding and streaching method, for about 5 mins. as shown in the image below. Brush some oil over the dough, cover it and rest it for 1 and half hours.
  3. Now in a pan add a tsp of oil and saute all the vegetable cubes for about a minute and keep them aside. Keep the fried chicken cubes also aside. I have used readymade fried chicken cubes. You can even use paneer or any stuffings of your choice.
  4. Now after one and half hours, the dough will doubled-up the size. Knead it for about a minute. Divide the dough into 2. Roll a ball into a thick pizza base as shown in the image below.
  5. Now apply some pizza sauce, then put some cheese slices, in the half part of the base, them put the stir-fried veggies, fried chicken cubes and some shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Finally add some, burger mayo and some tomato ketchup. Sprinkle some chilli flakes and some oregano herbs and cover the dough as shown in the image below.
  7. Now cover the base with the rest of the base left as shown in the image below. Seal the edges with a fork by gently presssing them. Apply some garlic butter over it. Sprinkle some chilli flakes and oregano herbs over it. Now grease a plate with some oil and place the calzone over it.
  8. Now take a kadai for pre-heating with it's base covered with salt and a stand over it. Cover it and pre-heat the kadai for 3 mins on high flame and then 5 mins. on medium flame.
  9. Now place the calzone plate over the stand and cover the kadai and bake it on a low flame for about 15 mins. Then cut it into halves and serve hot.
