  2. Combine all ingredients and place in a baking dish sprayed with Pam or rubbed with butter. Cover with foil Bake 15 minutes or until apples are tender with a fork.

When done, remove the apples from the oven and baste them with the juices from the pan. Terrific with a side of vanilla ice cream. Mix brown sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl. A dear friend and I wanted to make an easy apple crisp. We made a Parmesan filling, stuffed the apples and baked them whole.
