Easy Kimchi is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions every day. Easy Kimchi is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook easy kimchi using 16 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Easy Kimchi:
  1. Take 1 head Napa cabbage
  2. Take 1/2 cup Salt
  3. Get 1 cup Chilli powder - if you like spicy, can put 2 cups or 2 n half cups
  4. Make ready 1/4 cup Fermented shrimp
  5. Get 1 cup Fish sauce
  6. Take 1 cup Garlic
  7. Get 2 (inch) Ginger
  8. Make ready 1 large Onion
  9. Take Porridge
  10. Take 1 cup Water
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp Rice flour
  12. Take 1 tbsp Sugar
  13. Prepare Vege
  14. Make ready 1 cup Radish - jullien cut
  15. Prepare 1 cup Carrot - jullien cut
  16. Prepare 3 bunch Green onions (chopped)
Steps to make Easy Kimchi:
  1. Cut the cabbage bite size. Wash it and drained the water.
  2. Sprinkled salt into cabbage. Leave it to sit for 30 minutes. Turn the cabbage for every 30 minutes, this is to ensure the cabbage are 'marinated' well. I do it 3 times so total is 2 hours.
  3. Wash the cabbage thoroughly - like 3 times wash and rinse. Drained the cabbage
  4. For the porridge: Mixed water and rice flour on stove with medium heat. Cooked for 9 minutes. Add sugar and reduce the heat. Cook until it become shiny. Off the heat and let it cool.
  5. For the garlic paste : blend garlic, ginger, onion, fish sauce and fermented shrimp together.
  6. Mix garlic paste with chilli powder and cooled porridge. Then add the veges and mix till incorporate.
  7. Add in cabbage. Mix well and put it in container. Store it in refrigerator. Make sure to push the cabbage down from time to time so that it will soaked with kimchi sauce. DONE!
