Be sure to bake long enough so excess surface moisture evaporates, then let baked pretzels cool completely. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add flour and salt; stir to form a soft dough.

Instructions to make " Baked Pretzels ":
  1. Preheat oven to 225° .
  2. Pour your pretzels in large bowl. If not broken up enough , just break them up a little bit.
  3. Mix all the other ing. In bowl. Mix well. (6 ing.) Pour half over pretzels . Stir well. Pour rest over your prezels.
  4. Pour onto 15 x10x2" jelly roll pan . I used non- stick foil. When sriring if you use foil be careful not to tear foil.
  5. This makes alot. So if do not want so much. Just cut it in half.
  6. Bake 15 min. Take out and stir. Bake 10 more min.

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add flour and salt; stir to form a soft dough. Gently dip each pretzel in the soda solution, then arrange on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with the coarse salt. These pretzels are a bit sweeter than other types and are buttery. These are great plain with a bit of pretzel salt or coated with cinnamon and sugar.
