  5. Return to a pan and cook for 4 - 5 in medium heat.
  6. Put into a big bowl and cover with cling wrap attach to the custard.
  7. Let it rest until completely cool.
  8. Assemble the Vanilla slice dusting with icing sugar.
  9. Put in the fridge at least 3-4 hours or overnight before you cut and serve with fresh berries or ice cream.
  10. Enjoy

Cut the vanilla bean in half and add it to the milk. Bring milk up to a simmer, then remove from heat. Scrap the seeds from the vanilla bean into the milk.
